The consulting practice exists because not every problem is a software problem. Sometimes the right answer is “rip out half of what you’ve built.” Sometimes it’s “buy the SaaS.” Sometimes it’s “your real problem is your data, not your interface.”

We’re paid for the read, not for the code. If at the end of discovery we tell you not to build, that’s a successful engagement.

When to call us

  • You’re about to spend > $250k on a build and want a second opinion.
  • A vendor pitched you something and you can’t tell if it’s real.
  • Your existing stack is slowing the business and you don’t know which 30% to rip out.

The questions we get most often before signing.

Two weeks. Week 1 is interviews and on-site (or video) sessions. Week 2 is writing. You get a 20–30 page report you can take to the board.
That's a successful engagement. We charge for the read, not the rebuild. About 25% of our discoveries end with 'buy the SaaS instead' or 'rip out X first.'
Always. Standard mutual NDA goes out before the first call if you want it; we have ours, happy to sign yours.
